As part of Hollywood Casino St. Louis’ remodel, several AV components were added. A large 9′ x 29′ curved projection screen was added. Two 10k HD Christie Digital projectors were employed to fill the space. The projected images are pixel matched and geometry corrected to fit the surface, and each side is edge blended to create single digital canvas matching the dimensions of the physical screen. A video processor is used to create content windows anywhere on the screen using any of the eight serial controlled TV tuners, even spanning the left and right projectors. The design also equipped the venue with twelve 55-inch LED televisions. The televisions, audio, projection TV tuners, and video wall processor are all dynamically controlled by the latest version of the Control Point software from a touch panel located at the bar.
